    nice surprise

    Strangely enough, I didn't mean to buy this top. I thought it was going to be like the much thinner one I bought a few years back. The Palisade is substantially heavier (and more durable). Luckily, it's also awesome! I really like the high neck and the way the hood is not so large that you feel like your head is in a (cold) cavern.
